Dysphoria Play

Dysphoria is the feeling of discomfort when the way people interact with you doesn't match your gender identity. This feeling is often a source of distress & problems especially for TINA & genderqueer people, as well as some butches & dykes. Playing with gender identity is part of bdsm for many (e. G. Sissification) and kink always is a way to empower ourselves & resist society & it's norms. Therefore we want to open the space to talk about: how can we play with dysphoria, kinkyfy it, use it just as we use other "unpleasant" feelings like fear, shame, etc. This is NOT about avoiding dysphoria but finding ways to use it, play with it, make it kinky, turn it around, as a way to empower ourselves. You don't need experience with this kind of play but be curious about it & able to handle people talking about it (e. G. Discussions on deliberately misgendering someone during a session). We will also talk about navigating the risks, how to do this as safe as possible & special needs in aftercare. For all people who experience dysphoria and their play partners. If you don't experience dysphoria yourself, please bring some basic knowledge about TINA identities & dysphoria. If you are not sure if you have this knowledge, you can reach out to us facilitators beforehand.

Slightlyintopain (he/ him)

Slightlyintopain (he/ him) is a pain slut, masochist, trans man & loves to talk about kink as resistance, empowerment & political tool. He loves strong kink dynamics & use kink to make sth good out of (mental health) struggles.
Quing Killjoy (they / dey) is interested in conversations about space holding and navigating different kinds of relationships in play settings and long term. They love D/s dynamics as much as they hate patriarchy and they can get pretty nerdy about techniques and materials.
