Who we are
We are a diverse team from almost every area of sex work – often queer, always committed, and bringing different perspectives. Together, we shape BDSM Studio LUX as a place created by, with and for the community.
And me
I am Lady Velvet Steel, founder and director of Studio LUX.
With a passion for BDSM and a vision for the best possible workplace, I created this space.
My goal is to provide a safe, inspiring and fair environment for people in sex work and in our community.
When the team feels comfortable, our guests experience the best sessions.
Education
LUX is not only a place for BDSM and erotic encounters – it is also a place of learning and education.
Our course system is an integral part of the studio.
As sex workers, we have very specific expertise which we share in our courses.
This way, we contribute to sexual education and establish sex work as a natural part of sexual culture.
Spaces for Diversity
A core part of LUX is the ongoing support for our communities.
We use our resources and make them directly available.
This includes our mentoring program, regular free workshops for the sex worker community, and targeted support for projects.
Currently, LUX is supporting the project BDSM Beyond Binary, not only in spirit but also in practice.
We provide the rooms and infrastructure and thus foster the realization of events, workshops and artistic formats.
In this way, we create the foundation for queer and sex-positive communities to access a safe, open and solidarity-based space for exchange, education and creativity.
