In a nutshell

Anal practices and experiences are exciting for many people, if not taboo, and therefore surrounded by myths. To ensure that your anal adventure is smooth, safe, and relaxed, here is a practical, everyday, and informative guide. This will make your next visit to Studio LUX an unforgettable highlight – whether you are a beginner, experienced, or a fisting enthusiast – you can pick up a tip or two here!

1. Hygiene: clean, but don't overdo it

Mini enemas & douches

The rectum is normally already largely empty – otherwise we would be constantly surprised. For many people, a simple rinse with water or an enema is completely sufficient. This is especially true if you want to try a prostate massage or an exciting vibrating egg for the first time.

You can perform a simple rinse at home with an intimate douching device. Important: Less is more! The intestine is sensitive.

Rinsing with intimate douching devices (e.g., 60–120 ml)

  • Ideal for beginners
  • Cleans the outer area of the rectum
  • Always use lukewarm water (please do not experiment with soap, alcohol, or other “kitchen ideas”)
Simple intimate shower and intimate shower with hose connection

Mini enemas (e.g., 5–10 ml)
Mini enemas are available at drugstores and pharmacies. They often contain sodium citrate, sodium lauryl sulfoacetate, sorbitol solution, castor oil, or glycerin. Mini enemas work by gently stimulating and moistening the rectum, softening the stool and increasing lubrication.

  • Convenient for traveling
  • Small and discreet
  • Cleans the outer area of the rectum

Tips for using the methods mentioned:

  • Relax your body.
  • Let it work its effect while you're on the toilet.
  • Don't flush until it's “crystal clear” – this irritates the intestines and makes them more sensitive.

In short: rinse gently, don't shred!

2. Diet: the underestimated factor

Your digestive tract is like a teammate in sports—if you support it, everything runs smoothly.

What works well (24 hours beforehand):

  • Easily digestible foods
  • Rice, oats, potatoes
  • Bananas, yogurt
  • Lean protein: fish, chicken, tofu

What you should avoid:

  • Beans & lentils
  • Spicy food
  • Very fatty food (takes longer to digest)
  • Alcohol (dehydrates)

Additional tip: If you are planning a session with us, simply eat "reasonably" the day before.

3. Mental preparation: relaxed mind, relaxed sphincter muscle

No muscle reacts as sensitively to stress and tension as the pelvic floor and sphincter muscles. Fear of being “unclean” can fuel this tension. So here's what can be helpful for you during a session:

  • Deep breaths – relax your muscles in a targeted manner.
  • Warmth – we are happy to turn up the heating for you or give you a blanket.
  • Humor – laughter relaxes you!
  • Take a break – if you're not ready yet, that's okay. We can try again later.

Sometimes, simply adopting the attitude, “I want to enjoy this—and my body is allowed to take its time,” can help.

4. Pro tip for regular anal enthusiasts: psyllium husks

They make your stool more “stable” (yes, that sounds strange—but it's true).

Psyllium husks bind water in the intestine and form a soft but well-formed stool.→ This means that less “residual material” remains in the rectum.→ Many people feel cleaner and more secure as a result.

In addition, they ensure regular digestion. Regularity = predictability. If you know when your bowels are working, you can plan your activities better. This also means you have less need for intensive cleansing.

If the rectum is largely empty, a quick shower or mini enema is often sufficient. Many people report that they need to cleanse much less with psyllium husks because “there is simply nothing left that could cause discomfort.”

Psyllium husks

How to use psyllium husks effectively—the right dosage

  • Start with 1 teaspoon (approx. 3–5 g) per day, stirred into water
  • Slowly increase to 1–2 tablespoons as needed
  • Always drink plenty of fluids! (Psyllium husks need a lot of water because they swell significantly)
  • Take in the morning so you can drink enough fluids
  • If you don't like the taste or consistency, psyllium husk capsules are also available

Regularity is important.
The effect usually becomes apparent after 1–3 days, sometimes after a week.

Mini note on side effects:
Too much at once can:

  • Cause flatulence (the intestines need to get used to it)
  • Lead to hard stools (if you don't drink enough)

So increase slowly—your gut is a sensitive creature.

Conclusion: Good preparation = more enjoyment, less stress

Anal practices can be incredibly pleasurable and intense—if you listen to your body, take care of it, and don't overwhelm it with “I saw something on the internet” actions. With gentle hygiene and smart eating, nothing stands in the way of a relaxed anal session.
