“The Erotics of the Classroom: A Writing Lesson” is an exploration of various erotic fantasies around education. From rewriting traumatic school experiences to exploring the power dynamic between a teacher and a student or the rituals of education, the classroom can be a powerful playground for BDSM. Headmistress Vita and her Head Girl Astrid will guide you through a brief lesson in history about the classroom in BDSM media, and then through a series of writing exercises that reflect on the classroom as an institution of power. The workshop toes the border between conventional workshop and play scene. It is conceived as a classroom setting in which participants have the opportunity to be quiet students or, if they wish, to play along and experience some of the emotions of the classroom.
