What do you love about SM?

Building on the previous quote, what fascinates me about SM practices is the consensual creation of a unique and special mindfulness for the present moment. This moment of complete presence in the here and now is capable of bringing to the surface ancient thought patterns, burnt into both individual and collective perception, from the subconscious.

How did you start and what has changed since?

I look back on a long journey of self-discovery, study and the practice of diverse BDSM practices. These were an integral part of my multifaceted quest for self-knowledge. I increasingly wanted to know what remains when one sheds the patriarchal conditioning and social masks of our world.

Through deep reflection and courageous experimentation, I found the answer in the practice of mindfulness in our interactions and the exploration of various systems of power distribution at different social levels. This experience has transformed me: for me, BDSM has become a tool for finding and bestowing freedom beyond the norm.
