The cuckoo is the only bird that lays its eggs in foreign nests, leaving others to raise its young. For its own species, this is a natural and efficient way to reproduce; for others, it can feel like an intrusion : a quiet surprise when unfamiliar offspring appear in a place that once felt secure. From there, etymologically, a “cuckold” is someone who believes as his own the children his partner has with another man. Behind this idea lies a metaphor: what is unusual or unsettling for some can be entirely natural for others. Even in the animal kingdom, boundaries are fluid. And this is a perfect analogy to explore the place that desire and fetish holds in our lives. Cuckolding is one of those layered dynamics. It blends observation, emotional tension, and power exchange within a carefully structured setting. Typically, it involves a dominant presence , often referred to as the “bull” , and another participant who takes on a more passive, observant role.
